  • Because graviola can lower blood pressure, people on blood pressure medication should consult their doctor as their dosage may need to be adjusted.
  • Graviola has demonstrated uterine stimulant activity in animal studies and therefore not recommended for pregnant women.
  • Large doses may cause nausea or vomiting because of detox.
  • Graviola seeds and roots have shown some preliminary in vitro neurotoxicity in studies and should be avoided until further studies are done. Use graviola leaf instead.
  • CoQ 10 may reduce the beneficial effects of graviola on cancer cells due to increasing ATP – one of the reasons graviola works on cancer cells. Do not take them together.
